The Quarter Finals of this year’s Masaza Cup tournament will climax on Tuesday with a double header at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru.

The first game of the day will see Kyaggwe take on Mawokota at noon before Bulemeezi face off with Busiro later on in the evening.

The clash between Bulemeezi and Busiro is a repeat of the 2019 final, with which Bulemeezi won by 1-0, thanks to Emmanuel Loki’s header in extra time.

In the previous edition held earlier this year, Busiro took revenge against Bulemeezi, beating them 5-3 on penalties at Kitende to finish third in the tournament.

This year, Bulemeezi have been impressive as they are the only side to collect maximum points from their group (Butikiro) after three games. For Busiro, they finished second in the Bulange group with seven points.

Bulemeezi’s exciting midfielder Ssesazi Oscar Sulaiman, who scored three goals at the group stages will again be tasked to lift up his side if they are to get the job done against the 2019 finalists.

Meanwhile, Kyaggwe will face off with Mawokota in the first game of the day at noon.

To reach this stage, Kyaggwe topped the Bulange Group with seven points while Mawokota came second in the Butikiro group with only four points.

Kyaggwe’s sharpshooter Gerald Ogwetti will be called upon to rise up at the big occasion if they are to get the job done against Richard Malinga’s men.

Buddu and Buwekula have already sealed a place to the quarter finals after winning their respective games on Monday this week.

The semi- finals will get underway this Thursday 23rd December at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru.
