Onduparaka and URA Share Spoils in Arua

Najib Fesali cancelled out Muhammad Shaban’s opener as Onduparaka and URA played out a one-all draw in the league game at the Greenlight Stadium in Arua.

Kabon Living’s goal for URA against his former employers was cancelled after a protest from Onduparaka players for a Handball.

Moments later, Shaban broke the deadlock for Onduparaka in the 36th minute after receiving a long ball from Goalkeeper Micheal Kagiri

Fesali equalised for URA in the 62nd minute after a freekick from Captain Shafik Kagimu to score his first goal for the tax collectors.

Jarieko James could have won it for Onduparaka after being played through by Baden Mujahid but he shot over the bar and he later hit the crossbar in the 89th minute.

URA unbeaten record against Onduparaka extends to six games, the last time the Caterpillars defeated URA was a 1-0 victory in 2017.

Onduparaka are now winless in their last 5 league games, losing two and drawing three.

URA on the otherside have won just one match in the last 5 outings drawing 4 consecutive games.

Onduparaka sits 11th on the log with 11 points in 11 matches while URA are 8th with 14 points in 9 matches.
