Uganda men’s National football team, the Cranes are set to have two practice matches with two AFCON bound teams.
The two said countries are Gabon and Mauritania who are gearing up for the upcoming AFCON 2022 that is due early next year in January.
Micho’s charges will take on Gabon on 30th this month before facing Mauritania on 1st January 2022 with all matches set to be played in Abu Dhabi.

In the upcoming AFCON 2022, Gabon are dipped in group C alongside Comoros, Ghana and Morocco while Mauritania are in group F with Mali, Tunisia and Gambia.
For Uganda Cranes, it will be one of their first matches since a 1-0 defeat to Mali last month, as they failed to get out the group Stages in the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
Uganda, who were in group E finished with 9 points in the third place, seven behind eventual Group leaders Mali.
As they gear up for more engagements coming up in 2022, Micho will be targeting building a team that is composed of some experienced and young talent.
