Saturday, December 11
•URA FC 0-0 Express
•Busoga United 1-4 Vipers SC
•Mbarara City 3-2 Onduparaka
•Wakiso Giants 1-0 UPDF FC

Mbarara City recovered from two goals down to beat Onduparaka FC in a league game at Kakyeka Stadium.

Shaban Muhammad and Ahmed Amayo handed the visitors a dream start before the Ankole Lions staged a strong second half effort.

Solomon Okwalinga halved the deficit just at the hour-mark from the spot to give the hosts a fighting stance.

And the hosts were level in the 76th minute when winger Seiri Arigumaho pounced on Ivan Otude’s corner.

Otude then delivered another assist for Captain Hilary Mukundane who headed in tone winner to complete a comeback with five minutes to spare.

The win extends Mbarara City’s admirable run at home – Hussein Mbalangu’s charges have won all but one game (Vipers) in their five matches at Kakyeka this season.

Onduparaka FC remains winless in four games and have blown their best chance to return to winning ways.

What Next – Mbarara City host Wakiso Giants on December 12 while Onduparaka will be at home to URA the same day in Arua.
