Uganda Women U20 Team To Face Tanzania Named

The Uganda U-20 Women’s National Team Coach Ayub Khalifa Kiyingi has named his travelling lineup to face their Tanzania counterparts in two double header friendlies.

The two matches will be played on December 09 and 11 2021 at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

Tanzania senior men team will also face Uganda Cranes as part of events to commemorate Tanzania’s 60 years of Independence.

Uganda Coach Ayub Khalifa Kiyingi will use the two friendly matches to fine tune his players for the return leg against South Africa in the 2022 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup.

Uganda lead the tie 1-0 thanks to Hadijah Nandago’s line strike at Kitende, with the two teams set to meet in two-week time on Friday, 17th December 2021.

The Uganda U-20 Women national team beat Tanzania 1-0, goal by Fauziah Najjemba, in the concluded 2021 CECAFA Women U20 Championship at Njeru.
