Former Uganda Cranes captain Denis Onyango and his Sundowns teammates Kennedy Mweene and Hlompho Kekana (retired) will play in a charity match in Busia (Uganda) later this month.
Popular Musician and BET Award Winner Eddy Kenzo will also feature in the match that is organised by the Denis Onyango Masinde (DOM) foundation.
The match between ‘Onyango’s Best XI’ and Busia Select Side, will be played at the Masafu Playground on December 23 as part of the CSR activities.
Former Uganda Cranes stars Andy Mwesigwa, Simeone Masaba, Geoffrey Massa, Godfrey Walusimbi, Hassan Wasswa, Emmanuel Okwi and Dan Wagaluka are also listed for the game.
The move by DOM foundation is intended to give back to the people of Busia community.

“We want to make a change,” said Onyango, as quoted in press release from the DOM Foundation.
“By bringing these big names to Busia, we intend to give back joy, many of them in Busia support Sundowns because I play for the ‘Brazillians’ and for them to be able to see the Stars that they have only been able to see to on DStv before will give them a priceless sense of belonging.
“And these guys will not just be here to play but will also dig deep into their pockets and contribute to DOM foundation and that will literally culminate into directly giving back to the people of the area.”

Before the match, Onyango and his guests will give mattresses, Blankets, Mama Kit Value Packs and also partake in the Masafu Hospital painting launch.
Gals Sports Betting and Crown Beverages (Pepsi and Nivana) are on board to make the event a success.
