Four KCCA FC Players Banned After Incidents Against Vipers

The FUFA Competitions Disciplinary Panel has fined four KCCA FC players after events in their game against Vipers at Kitende.

KCCA FC conceded a late goal by Bobosi Byaruhanga in a dramatic 2-2 draw on Sunday.

Bobosi Byaruhanga’s goal was initially a subject of debate after the effort bounced out of goal but assistant referee Dick Okello was alert to signal for a goal.

A couple of KCCA FC players and fans showed their disagreement to the decision.

Consequently, FUFA has fined four KCCA FC playere Ashraf Mugume, Innocent Wafula, Ramathan Musa and Sadat Anaku for “attacking” Assistant Referee Dick Okello.

Statement briefly reads: “The four will serve a two-match ban and also have a suspended fine of UGX 500,000 each.”

They will miss the two league games against Police FC at Lugogo and SC Villa in Njeru

KCCA FC head coach Morley Byekwaso will pay a fine of UGX 1,000,000 for his comments after the game.

KCCA FC Goalkeeping Coach, Moses Oloya has been issued with a strong warning and cautioned about incidents that put the game into disrepute.

KCCA FC has been asked to pay a fine of UGX 1,000,000 for failure to tame its fans who threw water bottles to the field of play in the 35th minute.
