The Uganda Beach Soccer League released the National league fixture this week for the 2021/22 season.
The new season will get underway on December 12 2021 before the first round ends on March 6 2022.
Mutoola Beach and FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru are the two venues for the new season.
FUFA 3rd Vice President Hon Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi who is the FUFA Competitions Committee Chairman, rallied supporters to come and watch games in numbers.
“We expect all lovers of football to move out and watch Uganda Beach Soccer,” Hon Nakiwala stated.
“We expect to have a good season and we hope to have enough competitiveness that will enable us build a strong national team to compete on the Continent.”
St Lawrence are the defending champions and were crowned in April this year having topped the standings with 27 points after nine games.
The three-time champions will face Entebbe Sharks in the season opener at Mutoola Beach.
Unlike the previous season, 12 teams will compete this time round with Jinja Lions and Grace Church the two newcomers.
