Express finished with a man less in a 1-1 draw with Onduparaka at Greenlight Stadium in Arua.

Substitute Enoch Ssebagala received a second booking when he pulled Jimmy Ndalambi in the middle of the park in the closing stages.

But the Red Eagles held on for a hard fought point away from home.

It was a sad season debut for Ssebagala who had come on earlier for John Byamukama in the 17th minute. He received his yellow card in the 79th minute.

Shaban Muhammad managed to get one past Denis Otim

Shaban Muhammad opened the scores in the 9th minute when he pounced home after Express goalkeeper Denis Otim spilled an earlier effort from Emmanuel Oketch.

Winger Godfrey Lwesibawa levelled matters for the Red Eagles with a left-footed volley in the 27th minute after Eric Kambale headed his way.

Shaban, seemingly in an offside position, had a chance to win it late for the hosts but saw his effort rattle the crossbar.

Express, 6th with 12 points, remain unbeaten in six league games while Onduparaka are 11th with 9 points after eight games.
