*UPDF 2-1 Busoga United
UPDF returned to winning ways after a 2-1 victory over Busoga United.
Goals in each half from Ivan Ahimbisibwe and Mudde Musa handed UPDF a deserved win.
Mulanda Sunday pulled one back for the visitors but it proved not enough.
Ivan Ahimbisibwe gave UPDF the lead in the 23rd minutes heading off Mugisha Rogers cross.
Earlier, Yiga Frank had failed to hit the target with keeper to beat from thanks to a nice Mugisha Rogers delivery.
Wasswa Shaban hit the side net before Mudde Musa doubled the hosts lead from the freekick in the 75th minute.
Anwar Ntege could have put Busoga United in-front after Goalkeeper Wasswa Yusuf clearance fell to Shaka Ssozi who made a first time cross.
Anwar Ntege Mustafa wasted another chance after a nice delivery from substitute Opaala Edrine Mukisa before Oyirwoth Douglas made a goal line clearance to deny Ssekulime Paul.
Busoga United pressure later paid off when Mulanda Sunday halved the deficit in the 90th minute but it was little too late.
UPDF moves to fifth with 11 points in 7 matches.
