Our Saviour thrashed Entebbe Knight Riders 76-52 in game two to reach the semifinals of the ongoing FUBA Division One Playoffs at Nakasero.

The victory on Sunday meant that Our Saviour have won the best of three series 2-0 having won game one 78-48 last weekend.

The first half was tied 24-24 but Our Saviour opened a 13-point lead going into the last quarter before sealing a place in the last four.

It was an outstanding performance from Our Saviour who shot 40% from the field thanks to efforts from Moses Mugisha who contrinuted a double double of 18 points and 13 rebounds.

Our Saviour, fourth seed after ending the regular season with a 13-3 record, will meet winner between Rezlife Saints and Diamonds in the Sun.

The side is targeting a return to National Basketball League after they were relegated back in 2019 with Kampala University.

Elsewhere, Tropical Royals strolled past Entebbe Archers with a game to spare thanks to a 75-55 deserved win on Sunday.

The Royals will wait for the winner between Kampala Rockets and Gulu Hawks, a series that is tied 1-1 after the latter took game two on Saturday.

Top seed Rezlife Saints, who had lost game One last weekend, survived a scare after they beat Diamonds In the Sun 63-50 to level the series on Saturday.

In thrilling Division Two games, Emperors beat JKL Junior Men to reach the semis while rest of the ties are tied one all, awaiting for decisive Game threes next week.
