Rezlife Vows To Make Amends In Game Two

Rezlife Saints are hoping to come back stronger in Game Two this weekend against Diamonds in the Sun in the FUBA Division One Playoffs.

The Number One seed lost to Eighth-seeded Diamonds 58-50 last weekend at Nakasero.

It was a shocking result coming against a team they had just beaten to close their regular season with a 12-2 record.

Rezlife Saints head coach, Daniel ‘Najja’ Juuko remains confident in his players that they will surely tie down the game this weekend:

He stated: “Definitely, we were not happy about the performance and we have thoroughly planned for this coming week. We are going to level up and we are ready for the series.”

Diamonds in the sun had won only 6 in the 15 games played to squeeze through into the playoffs.

The Diamonds in the Sun Coach Jeff Omondi says that they are capable of proceeding to semifinals and momentum is on their side.

“Expect a tough game. We already have the momentum. Being number eight and you get a 1st win on the top seed is a morale boost and it shows we are capable of proceeding to the next stage,” said Omondi.

He added that the team is not taking risks at allowing the Rezlife Saints take the win as this can result into unpredictable series.

The two teams clash once again at the Nakasero courts this Sunday, November 14.
