Onduparaka FC Overcome Vision FC in Friendly

Uganda Premier League side Onduparaka FC defeated Kampala Regional League side Vision Lamancia FC 2-1 at Kira Playground.

Matovu Faisal gave the Regional League side the lead before Gabriel Matata levelled for the Caterpillars who later got a late 90th minute winner through an own goal.

A friendly also saw Onduparaka FC Goalkeeper Emmanuel Opolot reunite with his former team-mates since he joined the Arua based side from Vision Lamancia.

Onduparaka has camped in Kampala during the ongoing international break.

The Caterpillars have seen a mixed start to the campaign; One win against Bright Stars, two loses to Vipers and BUL FC, two draws against UPDF and West Nile Rivals Arua Hill.

The George Lutalo side sits 11th in the standing with 5 points in five matches that have seen them score two goals and conceding four.

They will return to action on 20th November after the International break against Police FC at the Ababet Green Light Stadium before traveling away to Kavumba Recreation Ground to face SC Villa on 26th November, their final fixture in November will be a home tie against defending champions Express on 30th November.

In December, the caterpillars will play 5 matches starting with Wakiso Giants at home on 7th, before travelling to Mbarara City on 11th, 6 days later they will welcome URA, before an away tie with Gadaffi FC on 21st, on 29th they welcome KCCA.

On 5th January 2022, they will be away to Busoga United before completing the first round against Tooro United in Arua on 08th January.
