Baker Mbowa: FUFA Fines Bright Stars Coach

Thr Federation of Uganda Football Association has fined Bright Stars head coach Baker Mbowa one million Ugandan shillings for breach of Fufa ethics code and communications.

It is said that during the post match interview after a league game between Gaddafi and Bright Stars, Mboaw made a statement that “The referees were biased”

As a result, the Federation had to take action against Mbowa due to his improper comments.

This week on Thursday, Fufa as well banned Centre referee Lucky Kisalirwe for his improper Officiating in the same clash where Mbowa’s side lost to Gaddafi at the Gaddafi arena in Jinja.

It is a big blow to the Baker Mbowa, whose side has had a poor start into this new Uganda premier season.

They are yet to win any game, having lost three and picked just a point in their last game against KCCA FC that was held at Kavumba earlier this month.

Currently, Mbowa’s charges are second from the bottom with on point on the UPL log and they will be hoping to come back stronger after this international break.
