Two Penalties In Tooro United, Gaddafi Draw

Gadaffi FC remain winless in the opening three games of the Startimes Uganda Premier League after a 1-1 draw away to Tooro United.

Joel Madondo scored from the spot in 29th minute after Brian Kalumba was fouled in the area to hand the Visitors a lead.

Marvin Oshaba equalised for the hosts in the 74th minute from a penalty kick in the to rescue the hosts at Buhinga Playground in Fort Portal.

The point came at a cost for Gadaffi – The side was forced into two earlier substitutions; Paul Musamali was taken off after collision and replaced by Serwadda Nazil.

And just after half an hour, Magumba Bakari came off injured for Otongo Willis.

Brian Kalumba was also stretchered off with an injury in the 70th minute with Bithum Ronald coming on in his place.

Tooro United move to 4 points in two matches while Gadaffi have one point in three games.

What next for both sides – Tooro United will travel away to KCCA at the Philip Omondi Stadium on Saturday 30th October while Gadaffi will host Soltilo Bright Stars on Friday 29th at the Gadaffi Arena.
