Troubled Express FC Out To Snap Losing Streak
Express FC will be targeting to hit the ground running when they visit BUL FC on matchday three at Kyabazinga Stadium in Bugembe.
The Defending champions have lost their opening two league games; falling to Arua Hill and UPDF.
Both losses have been hard to take – Arua Hill besiged them at Wankulukuku while UPDF beat them with a man down!
“We are not taking away chances and these last days its where we have put our main emphasis,” said head coach Wasswa Bbosa.
The tactician continues to serve his suspension after ill comments in the loss againts Arua Hill.
Without Eric Kambale, George Senkaaba will carry the scoring burden at Bugembe. The striker was on target last season as Express beat BUL FC in Bugembe, other goals came from Murushid Juuko, Ibrahim Kayiwa and an own goal.
Before the league kicked off, Express had lost twice in a row – They were eliminated by Al-Merrikh in Caf Champions League and also lost to BUL FC in Uganda Cup.
At this stage last season, the Red Eagles had four points (drew with Onduparaka before beating Bright Stars at Wankulukuku).
BUL FC on the other hand, beat Police 2-1 thanks to goals from Ibrahim Mugulusi and Alex Isabirye and the side will be hoping to exorcise those demons to extend their dream start.
