Uganda Vs Rwanda: Aziz Kayondo Starts As Micho Names Starting XI

Uganda Cranes coach Milutin Micho Sredejovich has handed Vipers youngster Aziz Kayondo his first starting place in the senior team to face neighbours Rwanda Amavubi Stars at St Mary’s Stadium Kitende in Group E of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.

This, is the only change made by Coach Micho from the team that beat Rwanda 1-0 in the reverse fixture on Thursday at Kigali Stadium.

Captain Khalid Aucho sits out due to suspension after picking his second yellow card while goalkeeper Charles Lukwago has maintained his place in the sticks.

Muzamir Mutyaba scored a brace and Derrick Nsibambi was also on target as Uganda Cranes beat Rwanda 3-0 at Kitende in 2018 CHAN Qualifiers.

The game will be played behind closed doors. It will be broadcast live on Azam TV who have the rights to broadcast these qualifiers in the region. UBC will have the match on free to air decoders.
