Uganda Tennis Association has expressed readiness to host the 5th Edition of the East African (Zone IV) Junior Teams’ Competition for boys and for girls of 12 years and under.
The tourney will take place in Kampala from the 11th to 17th October 2021.
The Competition will serve as a Qualifying event for the Final event of the African Junior Teams’ Competition 12 and Under (AJTC – 12&U) that will take place early December 2021.
Uganda are the Current Silver medalists for Girls Category and Bronze Medalists for the Boys’ Category after hosting the event in March 2020.
Uganda has been awarded hosting rights after the pandemic halted all Tennis activities in 2020.

Coaches John Oduke and Edward Odocken will captain the Boys and Girls Team respectively in the 2021 East Africa Qualification edition that will be hosted in Kampala at the Lugogo Tennis Complex beginning 11th October 2021 and ending on 17th October 2021.
Other Countries that have confirmed Participation; Tanzania, Seychelles, Sudan, Burundi, Kenya and Ethiopia.
The team is currently undergoing training at Lugogo Tennis Complex with Coaches Edward Odocken and John Oduke.
Trials were carried out and below were the successful athletes to represent Uganda;
