In the ongoing pandemic, Busoga United is one of the clubs that has been hit financially and have lost their key players in the just concluded transfer window.

They lost key members to rival side BUL FC that include defender Douglas Muganga, Ivan Wani, Jerome Kirya and George Kasonko. Midfielder Isma Mugulusi joined Sc Villa while forward Sharif Kimbowa crossed to Wakiso Giants.

However last month, the Side conducted trials in a bid to add in young players and also fill the void left by senior players.

Last season, Busoga United survived relegation as they finished 13th on the UPL log with 26 points after 26 games played.
