Former Soltilo Bright Stars defender Nkonge Ronald has penned an emotional farewell to Soltilo Bright Stars.
The Defender left Bright Stars after the end of his contract and has completed a move to Zambian side Nkana Red Devils.
Nkonge who joined Bright Stars from Kampala Junior Team (KJT) in 2019 played 29 times for Soltilo Bright Stars.
“Dear Soltilo Bright Stars fans. Today, I say goodbye to an amazing club as it is Soltilo Bright Stars. I want to thank the club for helping me become a better footballer and for making me and my family feel at home during my time here,” he wrote.
“About a year ago, Soltilo Bright Stars, a club that remain in my heart, gave me the amazing opportunity to play in the Uganda Premier League, a dream that came through”.
“After this year, I can only say thank you to the club, to the fans that have supported me since the first day I wore this Jersey thank you and good luck to my teammates who helped me settle in since day one not only as teammates but as friends.
“Today I say goodbye to this amazing team, but I take with me many memories, lessons and great moments that will live with me forever. It has been one the best years of my football career”.
“At last I want to wish Soltilo Bright Stars more success for the future and thank the club for giving me the opportunity to sign for another to which I want to give back all the trust they have given me and start a new season with more success.”
