Kefa Kisala has laid down tools at his new club Mbarara City FC over reported disagreements, The-SportsNation can reliably confirm.
Kisala was not at the training ground on Monday as the team was coached by assistant captain Zaid Byekwaso.
The gaffer threw in a towel last Saturday, a source told The-SportsNation.
Unconfirmed reports says that Kisala has cited poor working conditions at the club that include few match balls during training and the low motivation levels by the players due to lack of facilitation.
It is also said that the club has also not met othee coach’s demands.
When contacted by this website, Kisala who is said to be back in Kampala, confirmed missing the training but said that “I may return to the club on Tuesday.”
Other reports nearer to the club says that his Mbarara City’s bosses are not happy with Kisala’s new recruits at the club in the ongoing transfer window.
Both parties remain positive that the stand off is just temporary.
The Ankole Lions have released a number of players that include: Bashir Mutanda, John Adriko, Salim Huud, Jackson Opio, Chato Bamba, Innocent Wafula and Ivan Eyam.
Kisala, who has formely been with Express FC and Wakiso Giants, joined the Ankole Lions in the aftermath of his breakup with army side UPDF FC – He guided the then newcomers (UPDF FC) to the seventh place, finishing with 37 points.
