Uganda Premier League four-time winners Vipers were beaten by UPDF FC in a friendly game on Thursday at St Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.
Ivan Ahimbisibwe scored the only goal of the game, bundling in after an assist from Ezekiel Katende in the 23rd minute.
Its an impressive start for Ahimbisibwe who has just joined the Army side from Big League side Nyamityobora FC.
Coach Brian Ssenyondo will pick positives and rectify the few errors here and there as the League kickoff draws closer.
The loss, is the first for new coach Roberto Oliviera at Vipers who beat Gaddafi FC 2-0 thanks to David Bagoole’s brace.
