Uncertainties surround Express FC’s second leg match with Al-Merrikh in the CAF Champions League Preliminary round.
The Red Eagles left the country on Tuesday night having won 2-1 in the first leg at Kitende.
Per club website, Express FC says that the game will be played on Friday which is contrary to reports from Sudan.
In addition, the Red Eagles are camped in Khartoum but Al-Merrikh’s social media pages have it that the game will be played at Shikan Castle jn El Obeid on Sunday.
Khartoum is 360km away from El Obeid!

Sources say that Al-Merrikh submitted Al-Hilal stadium (Khartoum) but the club was informed that the pitch is not available as it has been used for a while.
A section of Express FC officials believe that being kept in the dark about the match details is part of the foul play by their hosts.
The Red Eagles are awaiting the final say from the match commissioner in a meeting later today.
Express, returning to the continent since 1997, will seek to advance to the next stage where they will face winner between Akonangui FC (Equatorial Guinea) and Zanaco FC (Zambia) in the second preliminary round.
It should be noted that Express FC have a Uganda Cup semifinal clash with BUL FC on September 22nd and will be required to test players on Monday at 8am at FUFA house in Mengo.
