Uganda Cranes goalkeeper Salim Jamal Magoola has left Sudanese giants Al Hilal Omdurman after the end of contract, it is official.
Jamal, who is not part of the Uganda Cranes squad for the upcoming World Cup Qualifiers, posted an emotional farewell to his social media accounts.
“It is sad to say goodbye to this great club in the country and one of the best in the Africa,” Jamal wrote on Monday.
“I take this moment to thank all the fans, players and management for the great years of joy and sadness we shared together in the last couple of years in CAF Confederation and Champions League.
“I wish the club all the best in the future as I take on my next challenge in shaa Allah.”
The shot stopper who recently held in trials in South Africa, is linked to a move to Marumo Gallants in PSL (South Africa).
Marumo, is a football club based in Lipompo, coached by Sebastien Migne, and formerly known as TTM after purchasing the Premier League status of Bidvest Wits.
