Adam Seiko is delighted to get the chance to play for Uganda at the forthcoming 2021 FIBA Afrobasket.
Seiko is the latest addition to the team and couldn’t hide his excitement as he talked of how proud he is to play for the National Team.
“When I was younger, my mother and I used to talk about how I could play for the National team. Years have gone by, I have worked hard, and I have an opportunity to play for Uganda, which is like the best feeling in the World,” he stated.Adam Seiko
Seiko is six foot three (6”3’), playing as a guard. During his regular-season games playing for San Diego State Aztecs, he averaged; 4.2 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 0.6 steals. San Diego State Aztecs is the basketball team for San Diego State University playing in Division I of the NCAA.
He expressed his confidence and stressed that the team is energetic and has the right coach to lead them to victory.
When asked about how familiar he is with the team and the tournament, he stated that the communication amongst the team is excellent, and this is a tournament that he has followed over the years. He is excited to have this opportunity to play in the tournament.
Seiko is confident about the leadership skills he will use on court and the defense he will add to the team.
During the Silverbacks campaign for the AfroBasketball games against Team Morocco, the 19-year-old Arthur Kaluma had an impressive game scoring twenty points and leading the Silverbacks to victory. It is no surprise that his brother Adam Seiko has also been added to the squad.

The 23-year-old, Seiko, has a career-high game of 14 points and 5 assists.
