Rogers Aloro Stars As Tusker FC Crowned Kenya Premier League Champions

Rogers Aloro was on target as Tusker FC clinched the Kenya Premier League title on the last day of the season.

Aloro scored from the spot after a foul on Boniface Muchiri before Henry Meja doubled the advantage in a 2-1 win over Bidco on Sunday.

David Orem scored for the visitors at Utalii Grounds but Tusker held on to seal their 12th Premier League title.

“Victory belongs to Jesus. We are champions. I am a champion again. That feeling is breathless knowing that the hardwork paid off,” Aloro posted.

The title is the 12th for the Brewers who finished top with 65 points, three above KCB in second. Giants Gor Mahia finished a distant eighth with 45 points while Vihiga and Western Stima join banned Zoo in the red zone.
