Abraham Ndugwa Set To Choose Express Over Wakiso

Express FC has joined Wakiso Giants in race to sign attacking midfielder Abraham Ndugwa, The-SportsNation sources have learnt.

Ndugwa is a free agent after ending his three seasons at Vipers where he scored 10 goals in 41 matches.

The former Masavu FC attacker is said to have been approached by Wakiso Giants but the deal is set hit a dead end due to “little” sign-on fee the player is being offered.

Express FC, who also have CAF Champions League football to offer, are said to be front runners for the player’s signature.

The stylish attacker has the ability to find space in the defence and also has a knack for good goals will be a good addition at Wankulukuku if the deal comes to pass.

Express FC are also expected to add John Adriko to their ranks.

The Red Eagles who will face Sudan’s Al-Merrikh in the preliminary round, have already unveiled Joel Mutakubwa and Joseph Akandwanaho as their new signings.

Cyrus Kibande, Frank Ssenyondo and Ibrahim Kayiwa are reportedly not in Wasswa Bbosa’s plans.
