Transfers: BUL FC Prise Midfielder Kasonko From Arch-rivals

Uganda premier league side BUL FC have completed the signing of midfielder George Kasonko from arch rivals Busoga United.

The Jinja based side who have endured a busy transfer spell lately, have handed the former Busoga United captain a two years employement contract.

Kasonko is targeting glory days at the Jinja based club.

“BUL FC is the best team in Uganda. As it is with any other player, I also want to win trophies”, Kasonko stated

“The club has exciting objectives like winning the league and featuring on the continent, that is why I have come to join efforts with my teammates to see these dreams come true. He added

Newly appointed BUL FC head coach Alex Isabirye believes Kasonko will add the class and vigour to his squad.

“George is a very good and responsible player. I expect the team to make big strides because I am confident he has come with great value.

George Kasonko becomes their fourth signing after acquiring the services of goalkeepers Saidi Keni and Hannington Ssebwalunyo

Striker Ibra Nsimbe is the other player to have already joined the Eastern based side

In the same process BUL FC have already let go of 13 players and reports are riffle that more are set to be on their way out.

BUL FC finished eleventh on the Uganda premier league table in the previous season as well as reaching the Uganda cup semi finals.
