Renown NBA Analyst Mike Schmitz has joined the Silverbacks camp as Team Uganda prepares to face Morocco in a crucial Afrobasket Qualifier on Thursday.
Schmitz, has been part of Uganda’s Technical team, and helps in building the young prospects among others.
The ESPN NBA Draft Analyst who is a also a private scout, jetted in to join the team in Morocco camp.

He will be assisting the coaches already in camp that include Head coach George Galanopoulos, Mande Juruni and Andrew Tendo as the Silverbacks try to skip the Morocco hurdle.


Meanwhile, Silverbacks and UCU Canons forward Titus Lual Odeke says that he is ready to battle.
“We have had good training sessions, I am developing bit by bit and as an individual I think am ready to battle,” Titus told The-SportsNation.
“The training has been good, its continuation of last window and that of Tunisia. To me, I feel honoured to be part of this group, its been a learning experience which I greatly need.”
Power forward cum centre Ishmail Wainright is expected to join the team today ahead of Thursday’s encounter.
