UPL Adjusts Kickoff Time For Remainder Of Matches

Uganda Premier League secretariat has reset the kickoff time for remaining matches in the 2020/21 season.

Per the communication to Clubs, all the games will kickoff at 3:00pm not 4:00pm as it has been.

The move is intended to leave more time for parties to beat the curfew which starts at 9pm.

“Considering the government partial lockdown due to the prevailing covid-19 situation in the country, the UPL Secretariat has adjusted the kickoff time for all the remaining SUPL fixtures to 3:00pm effective Friday 18th June 2021,” reads the letter in part.

The decision was earlier used in the remaining two match-days of the FUFA Big League.

The Federation (FUFA) earlier equiped Clubs with documents to ease their movements after Government announced a ban on inter district travels.
