National Basketball League players and support staff have got their first jabs of vaccination against COVID-19.
Federation of Uganda Basketball Association has conducted the process in collaboration with Kampala Hospital.
The league players, Coaches, Referees other FUBA officials including President Nasser Sserunjogi took the jabs.
FUBA Vice President in charge of Communication Arnold Katabi has told The-SportsNation that the first phase has seen 70% of people vaccinated.
However, it’s yet to be known when the second dose will be administered.

The decision to vaccinate players and support staff comes as a boost after recent cases in the NBL that saw Power Vs Nam Blazers postponed from Sunday last week.
Power players received their jabs earlier this week.
Not vaccinated players will have to present their negative Covid19 tests certificates 48 hours before the game day.
The move sees FUBA continue to adhere to set Government SOPs on Covid19 as fears of a second wave and imminent lockdown rises.
