KCCA FC forward Charles Lwanga is not looking back after reaching double figures in the Uganda premier league.
Lwanga scored his 10th goal of the season as KCCA FC beat Busoga United 3-1 on Sunday.
The forward who joined the Kasasiros from SC Villa has been one of the best players at Lugogo this campaign.
“I’ve been looking for my 10th goal in today’s game. Lwanga told the press in a post match press conference.
“I have been disturbed with injuries but luckily enough, I am back after a spell without scoring a goal drought and this brings back my confidence.”
Before the season commenced, Lwanga set a target of 15 goals and he says he will fight hard in the remaining fixtures to reach it.
“I set a target of 15 goals and now its five to go.
“I will work hard to reach this in the remaining fixtures.”
” The team I’m in pushes me to work hard, score goals and add value to myself.”
Charles Lwanga since Joining KCCA FC has scored a total of 11 goals across all competition and will be eager to add on his tally when KCCA FC play away to Express FC in the Uganda Cup on Wednesday, May 26.
