Amuria High School and Ajax Queens have qualified to the Quarterfinals of the ongoing FUFA Women Elite League after finishing top of Group C.
Amuria High School finished as table leaders with 9 points while Ajax Queens finished second with six points after three games played.
Heading into their last game, Amuria needed any positive result on the day and they did just enough.
They took care of Vision WFC on Sunday, thanks to Rukia Aringo’s strike in the 71st minute, that saw them earn maximum points from their Group.

On the other hand, Ajax Queens finished up with a 5-1 victory against a St. Peter’s side that have indeed struggled throughout the tournament.
Annet Namwenge scored a hat trick on the day, with Moureen Nangozi and an own goal from Awol Naume the other goals to see them seal a place in the knock out.
Shamurat Unjia struck the only goal for St. Peters as they bowed out of the tournament without any single victory.
In the Quarter Finals, Amuria High School will take on the second runners up in Group D, while Ajax Queens will face the top team from Group D.
At the end of season, the top three teams from this tournament will qualify to the FUFA Women Super League.
