Kawempe Muslim overcame Makerere University 1-0 at the on-going FUFA Women Super League in Njeru.

Allen Nassazi struck the all important goal in the 19th minute to see her side Kawempe bag all three points on the day.

In the second half, there was literally nothing to write home about as Nassazi’s goal remained the difference.

Nassazi who also scored each against Tooro Queens and Kampala Queens now tops scoring charts with three goals.

Having played their last group game on Friday, Kawempe now tops Group 1 with nine points from four games.

For Makerere University, they are yet to register any victories in their first three games and will face Kampala Queens in the last game on Saturday.
