Terrazo and Tiles FC 1-1 Kigezi Home Boyz
Kakyeka Stadium, Mbarara
April 22nd 2021
Kigezi Home Boyz scored late as they drew 1-1 away to Terrazzo and Tiles FC in a FUFA Big League game played at Kakyeka Stadium in Mbarara.
Denis Lubowa struck in stoppage time for Kigezi to see his side walk away with a point.
Substitute Ssemanda Peter had earlier given the home side the lead on 70 minutes.
Playing at home, Terrazzo and Tiles had more of the possession in the opening exchanges and kept this throughout the entire half time.
Despite the home side having possession, Kigezi threatened first and could have scored on 37th minutes, but forward Bright Haguma missed from the spot with his effort going just wide of the up-right.
In the second half, Substitute Ssemanda broke the deadlock with 20 minutes left on the clock to give Terrazo the lead.
In search for the equaliser, the visitors continued piled pressure to the Terrazzo defence and it was a matter of time before they levelled matters.
In stoppage time, Lubowa scored from the spot to ensure a share of the spoils.
The result sees Terrazzo and Tiles FC remain winless in their first six games of the season and they sit rock-bottom of the Rwenzori group.
For Kigezi Home Boyz, they move to six points but still sit seventh.
