Kampala Queens will be under new coach Isma Mukiibi who replaced Faridah Bulega last year.
The former Buikwe Redstars player joined the club in 2017 after club bought off Gaddafi Integrated ladies team in 2016.
The development was confirmed on the club’s social media platforms during the release of the final squad ahead of the FUFA Women Super league kick-off on Monday, 19th April 2021.
The team that was unveiled consists of two goalkeepers, six defenders, four midfielders and six strikers.
Kampala Queens ladies team has beefed up their squad which with several players including U17 goalkeeper Joan Namusisi, Rukiya Namubiru, Jackie Ogol, Patricia Busingye, Ayikoru Nerva Zulaika, Winnie Akwatulila, Christine Atuhaire, Immaculate Odalu, Sophia Nakiyingi, Resty Nalweyiso and Tracy Sasha Kaire .
On the other hand, the team has also released Angel Nakuya, Merble Kusasira and Goalkeeper Lydia Adubango while Zaina Namuleme will miss the tournament because of examinations at Makerere University.
The FUFA President’s owned team is in Group A alongside Kawempe Muslims, Tooro Queens, Uganda Matyrs Lubaga, Makerere university Ladies team and they are to face Kawempe Muslims in their first encounter at FUFA technical centre in Njeru on 19th April 2021.
