Uganda Premier league side UPDF FC have completed the signing of defender Bernard Muwanga.

The former KCCA FC and SC Villa hard rock joins the Kefa Kisala side on a short term deal until the end of the season

Muwanga was strongly linked to a move to Kyetume FC at the start of the season but the deal did not materialise.

The former Bright stars and Villa captain who has been out of action since leaving KCCA at the end of last season, will be key for UPDF as the side seek to stay in the top flight.

UPDF FC are currently 7th on the Uganda Premier League table with 25 points from 16 league games.

Muwanga has also recently captained the Uganda Cranes at the 2018 CHAN tournament in Morocco.
