Big League: Kabonge Abandons First Game In Charge As Paidha Lose To Black Power

Paidha Black Angels new head coach Allan Kabonge stormed off the pitch in his first game as the they controversially lost 2-0 to Black Power FC at the Emokori stadium.

The hosts were awarded a penalty in the 85th minutes after Ssonko Ronald was judged to have handled in the area. The incident which was opposed by the visitors but in vain.

Things turned rough as defender Odagiu Khalid & goalkeeper Othuba Joshua were stoned by the home fans. The visitors threw chairs at them in their defense prompting Kabonge to abandon walk of the pitch.

Police later intervened to calm down the situation.

Despite the ugly scenes, Paidha lost the game 2-0, their second loss of the season.

Siwu Michael gave Black Power the lead from the spot in the 87th minute and five minutes later Iboot Gilbert doubled the host’s lead. Paidha Black Angels forward Obai Fenihas was sent off in the 90th minute.

Black Power’s next game is a Stanbic Uganda Cup tie with BUL FC at Emokori stadium. Then, on, 14th Apri, they face Gaddafi FC in the FUFA Big League.

Paidha Black Angels will welcome Soltillo Bright Stars at Bar Okoro stadium in the Stanbic Uganda Cup, while on 14th April, they travel away to Kataka FC.
