Onduparaka FC have named Joseph Harold Mutyaba as their new head coach.
Mutyaba will be in charge of the Arua based side until the end of the season replacing Viali Binomugisha whose departure was confirmed on Tuesday morning.
The Caterpillars announced Mutyaba’s capture on Tuesday afternoon via a post on their social media platforms.
“OFFICIAL! Allow us to unveil the new leader with the mantle and mandate to steer and steward God’s Team. Meet Coach JOSEPH HAROLD MUTYABA, who will be our new Head Coach on interim basis till the end of the season.”
Mutyaba who has previously worked with FUFA will take charge for the rest of the 2020/21 campaign.
He is a former Uganda Cranes International and scored on his debut in the national colour back in 1994 against Ethiopia.
During his club career, he played for Entebbe Works FC, Express Football Club and SC Villa.
Mutyaba is also fairly experienced in the coaching department as he has previously managed at Mutundwe Lions, Masavu FC, Busia Fisheries, Lweza FC and BUL FC.
Onduparaka FC ended the first round in 8th position with 21 points from 15 games.
Their next game will be away to Busoga United on Wednesday, March 31 at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru.
