The Blacks started dominating the game as left back Cheka Sabiri wiped in a very fine attempt but his shot deflected off Opima Joshua for a fruitless corner kick.
In the 40th minutes, Paidha thought they had scored through their Choka Julius after the ball was deflected off Hatimu but the creative midfielder was controversially flagged offside.
Odargiu Khalid finally broke the deadlock from the spot in the 74th minutes after Choka was broke down in the box.
Mbale Heroes never gave up and were rewarded with a late goal in the 94 minutes by Okori Luka to deny Paidha Black Angels their first win of the campaign.
