The head coach of Gaddafi FC Frank Ssebagala says the team’s focus is now on the next match.
Gaddafi play host to Maroons on Sunday at the Kyabazinga Stadium in Bugembe, three days after taking care of their opening against Mbale Heroes 1-0.
Wednesday’s victory awarded three points for the team placing them in forth position in Elgon group.
“We have won the game by 1-0 and now we are playing Maroons on Sunday and we hope to win the game. Said Ssebagala.
“We shall try to rectify some of the mistakes we made and be able to score more goals.
“The first matches are not always easy for every team and this match has given us the true picture and we hope to improve and add on the performance against Maroons on Sunday.”
Former Raja Casablanca and Busoga United striker Joel Madondo scored the only goal for Gaddafi and he will be the man to look to if Ssebagala’s side who are in their Big League debut season is to make it two victories on the trot.
