“Our first new player for next season has arrived in Vélez-Málaga. David is a 22-year-old versatile midfielder whose main strengths are speed, running ability and functional technique. He can play in both bands and also in the center of the field,” reads part of the statement form Velez FC.
“We will use the time well until next season begins to help David on and off the field adjust to our team and club.”
Owori rejected a fresh contract at the Jogoos and was a hot cake among local clubs including URA FC.
He started out with Nsambya Young Stars Academy before later joining Wembley Soccer Academy, Lukuli United, SC Vipers, Proline FC and SC Villa.
