Uganda Premier League side Mbarara City will have to play four of their next Fufa competition matches without Captain Hilary Mukundane and Stephen Othieno.
This was confirmed by the FUFA Competitions Disciplinary panel on Wednesday, March 17.
Mukundane and Othieno are both sanctioned after use of harmful, threatening, offensive, rude, insulting comments and violet conduct towards match officials UPL match between Onduparaka and Mbarara City on 9th, March at the Greenlight stadium
“In the present case, the Disciplinary panel identified and took into account the fact that; I Hillary Mukundane and Othieno do admit contravening Article 30(2) of the FCR. Reads two separate statements by the Fufa Disciplinary Competition Disciplinary panel
“The FUFA competitions Disciplinary panel hereby suspends Hillary Mukundane and Stephen Othieno for 4 Uganda Premier League completions effective 17th Wednesday march.”
Mbarara City FC play BUL FC in their last first round game and Mukundane plus Othieno will start serving their punishments in the particular game.
Failure to adhere to the sanction, the FUFA competitions Disciplinary panel shall constrain to take string disciplinary measures against the player.
