Express FC Thrash MYDA To Move Second

Express FC continued their good form with a convincing away victory over MYDA FC in a StarTimes Uganda Premier League game played in Toronto.

Godfrey Lwesibawa and George Ssenkaaba both bagged braces to send Wasswa Bbosa’s charges to second spot on the log.

Eric Mutebi brought one back for the hosts to deny the Red Eagles a clean sheet.

“Am really happy for the performance today, I am glad that I have scored two goals and it has been efforts from my fellow players at large,” said Ssenkaaba who has taken his tally to four goals.

“I thank the management and fans that have helped us get this third win on the road. Its good that our next game is at home, and I call all seasonal ticket holders to come and support us. I promised you that we shall win our games, and we have just started.”

This is the fifth win for Express who have collected 19 points from nine games.

MYDA remain in the red zone with one point and are still in search for their first win in top flight

What Next – MYDA FC visit BUL at Bugembe on February 26 while Express will be at Betway Muteesa II Stadium against Wakiso Giants on the same day.
