*Mbarara City 0-0 Busoga United
Mbarara City and Busoga United fired blanks in a pulsating StarTimes Uganda Premier League encounter at Kakyeka Stadium in Mbarara.
Mbarara, playing without head coach Brian Ssenyondo, dominated proceedings but failed to find the back of the net.
The hosts’ best chance fell to defender Souleymane Bamba but headed onto the crossbar from Jasper Aheebwa corner.
Salim Huud came close but shot into the side net from a tight angle while Busoga defender Abubaker Otwao made a goal-line clearance to deny the home side.
Mbarara striker Makueth Wol missed twice – He was denied by goalkeeper Rogers Omedwa and later shot over the bar after collecting from Jude Ssemugabi.
Busoga saw Bagoole shoot wide with a goal at his mercy, Paul Ssekulima had his effort blocked by Jasper Aheebwa but the point will be a deserved result for the resilient visitors.
