Busoga United FC Unveils Seven New Signings

Uganda Premier League side Busoga United have strengthened their squad ahead of league restart.

The club has announced the acquisition of seven new signings including Bernard Wamusi who recently had trials in India.

Ekollot Ibrahim, Waigona Isaac, Shaka Ssozi, Benda Byron, George William Kalyowa and Elvis Ngonde are the other additions.

These were unveiled by Club Chief Executive Officer Andrew Ndyabahika.

The good news comes ahead of the club’s trip to Arua to face Onduparaka FC this Friday.

Busoga have one point courtesy of a 1-1 draw against Kyetume and sit in 14th place after five games.

They lost maximum points against UPDF, BUL, Police and Vipers.

Busoga United FC saw their left back Hakim Magombe join Onduparaka FC recently.

  1. Ngonde Elvis defensive Midfielder on a 2 year Contract (from Junior team)
  1. Kalyowa George William Left back on a 2 & half years Contract (from Junior team)
  2. Ekellot Ibrahim Defensive Midfielder & Centre half (from Busoga United Junior team, acquired from Soltilo Bright Stars)

4. Wagoina Isaac Forward from Iganga young on a one and a half year Contract (Iganga Young)

  1. Wamusi Benard Attacking Midfielder/Forward on a one and a half year Contract (Kataka)

6. Benda Byron an Attacking Midfielder/Forward on a one and a half year Contract (Edgars).
