Defender Fred Okot has signed for newcomers MYDA FC, The-SportsNation can exclusively report.
Okot joins the Malaba-based side after he was released by UPDF FC in controversial circumstances.
The fullback said that he was never forgiven by coach Kefa Kisala when he missed a 90th-minute penalty in loss to Kyetume FC.
Okot, who came at the scene while still at Kireka United, has had stints with defunct Lweza, URA FC and Vipers SC.
He joins the new entrants who also signed Paul Musamali.
MYDA FC have collected one point from their four league games, a 3-3 draw against Mbarara City FC.
They face Vipers this Saturday at St Mary’s Stadium in Kitende in a rescheduled fixture as the UPL first round returns from a long break.
