Uche Ikpeazu Mubiru scored his first goal for Wycombe Wanderers in the club’s 1-3 loss to Middlesbrough on Saturday.

Ikpeazu opened the score sheet when he cut inside before curling into the top corner to put the Chairboys in an early lead.

However, Boro made amends with Marcus Browne, Marcus Tavernier and Chuba Akpom sealing a deserved comeback.

Ikpeazu will hope to add more to his first goal in the coming days as he prepares for his Uganda Cranes debut in March against Burkina Faso in AFCON Qualifiers.
