*Ssingo 0-4 Bulemeezi
*Mawogola 0-0 Buluuli
Buluuli and Mawogola shared spoils in the first goalless draw of the ongoing Masaza Cup.
In a game played at FUFA Technical centre Njeru, Buluuli was the better side but failed to find the back of the net thanks to goalkeeper Michael Lutaaya’s heroic saves.
Buluuli’s best chances fell to John Vianey Bukenya who also saw referee Ali Kaddu waive play on after he was tripped in the forbidden area.
Bukenya was denied by Lutaaya when he went clear on goal after beating Daniel Bakaki.
Henry Tenywa and Kakooza Nadir played a sweet one-two into the area but the latter sent his effort wide as Buluuli asked Mawogola plenty of questions.
Mawogola almost pick pocketed Buluuli in the added minutes but Herbert Kibiringa saw his shot cleared off the line with the keeper beaten by a low cross from the left flank.
Mawogola also had a chance to break the deadlock but Raymond Othieno fired his long range effort wide.
In the first half, Mutebi Alex raced away from his man before shooting just off the mark.
The draw leaves Mawogola in second of Butikkiro Group with four points alongside Bulemeezi and Butambala while Buluuli are fourth with two points and Ssingo sit rock bottom with one point to their name.
Mawogola face Butambala on December 19, the same day Buluuli play Bulemeezi. Mawogola will still play Bulemeezi on December 21.
