UPDF Fight Back Against BUL To Maintain Perfect Start

UPDF battled from a goal down to overcome BUL FC in a league game played at Bombo Barracks ground.

Dickens Okwir came off the bench to score a late brace, 79th and 81st minute, to see the Army side complete a comeback.

BUL took a lead through Joseph Ssemujju in the 39th minute after Musa Esenu was fouled in the box.

The victory has seen the Army side maintain their perfect start to season having beaten Busoga and Kitara in the opening games.

The side, coached by Kefa Kisala, have collected nine points and sit second level on points with 13-time champions KCCA.

BUL on the other hand, remain with four points having drawn with Villa before overcoming Busoga.

What Next – UPDF visit Kyetume in Njeru on Wednesday as BUL host URA at Kyabazinga a day before.
